Spaces, Folders, Lists — not one board of lists
A board of columns is one list. IterDone nests lists in folders in spaces, so a second client or a second product is another list, not another Trello board you lose in the sidebar.
Trello alternative
Trello is still the right tool for a tiny team that will never need folders: one board, a handful of lists, cards you drag. IterDone is more structured, not simpler. When that board is no longer enough — a second client, a folder, a guest who should not see the rest — this is the Trello alternative with folders and lists.
The switch
The usual next step after Trello vs a real project tracker is a heavier platform. You do not have to jump that far. IterDone keeps a board view on every list, then adds Spaces, Folders, Lists, subtasks, dependencies, a timer, and notifications you can tune. Trello still wins the single-board shop. Everyone else who outgrew Trello needs hierarchy and guests.
What we built instead
A board of columns is one list. IterDone nests lists in folders in spaces, so a second client or a second product is another list, not another Trello board you lose in the sidebar.
Every list is already a board, table, calendar, timeline and workload. Trello is board-first; calendar and the rest are add-ons or another product. Switch the view here. Do not switch the tool.
Invite a client as a guest scoped to one list. They see their cards. They do not see the rest of the workspace, and you do not buy a seat for someone who comments twice a month.
Break a card into subtasks, draw a dependency on the timeline, start a timer on the task, and mute a channel to mentions-only. Those ship. A Trello Power-Up stack is optional here because the tracker already has them.
If your whole world is one board and it always will be, stay on Trello. IterDone is the Trello alternative for teams that need folders, multiple lists and a guest who must not see the other client.

Common questions
Yes, if you outgrew Trello. IterDone is a Trello alternative with folders and lists, not a simpler Trello. Try the live demo with no signup.
Yes. A Trello alternative for teams needs more than one board: Spaces, Folders, Lists, and a guest who sees only their list. That is this page.
You usually want folders, multiple lists, and a real project tracker — not another kanban. IterDone is that next step without jumping to an enterprise Work OS.
A real project tracker: hierarchy, views, guests, subtasks, dependencies, time, tunable notifications. Trello is still better at one board for a tiny team that will never need folders.
Yes. Hierarchy is Spaces, Folders, Lists. A board of columns is one list. Import a Trello CSV and put each board in its own list.
Guests are free and scoped to one list. A client sees that list and nothing else. The guest-access solutions page walks through Allow guests.
The one that keeps a board view, adds folders and lists, and does not charge for a client guest. IterDone is built around that. This is not a roundup page.
Yes. Export a CSV and upload it — names, statuses, assignees and due dates come across in one pass. See the import docs, or try it in the live demo with no signup.
